The COVID-19 outbreak is forcing home healthcare workers to change how they treat our consumers. To reduce the risk of spreading the disease, all our DSP's know that our agency should be informed immediately if they are feeling sick. Replacement staff will be assigned if they have to leave the home.  They're also wearing personal protective gear more often and  to check for fevers by using thermometers  already in the homes.

We are conducting  phone calls with both consumers and DSP's asking screening questions to determine if they are at risk for spreading the illness.We put in place a new infection control procedure which is a requirement to wear masks, and gowns, and gloves when interacting with anybody with flu-like symptoms.

when possible we're setting up video conference calls for prescreening, with our patients and families when we can, using their laptop, smartphone, or tablet, It's better than a phone call. And you can see the level of care need for you client.
